From time to time, just about everybody needs a little help. At Independence Village many of our residents have been with us for over a decade, and some for nearly two, so you can imagine their needs, like yours, have changed over the years.
In order to enable our residents to maintain their independence and enjoy the highest
possible quality of life, Independence Village provides access to on-site supportive care providers that are privately paid and staffed by dedicated professional caregivers who will assist you in any way they can, for as long as you desire. Services that may be of interest are:
- Help with dressing
- Shower assistance
- An escort to activities, outings, or meals
- A daily check in to see how you are, what you might need, or a friendly medication reminder
Additionally, if your physician orders physical, occupational, or speech therapy, a therapist can come directly to your apartment, at a time convenient to your schedule. Typically the costs of these types of services are covered by Medicare and most insurance companies.
Simply put, it is our goal is enable all of our residents to maintain the independence of a secure lifestyle, to have their needs met as they as they wish, and to be able to do all of this in the comfort and convenience of their own home.
